OUR SERVICES

Early Intervention 

This programme involves infant stimulation and physiotherapy for children with developmental delay below the age of 3 years. Parents also participate in this training to ensure continuity at home.

Academics 

Children who have the ability are put into the academic stream. They follow the state board syllabus and progress at their own pace. At any point where they find it difficult, they are moved to a functional literacy programme.

Physiotherapy

We have a qualified physiotherapist who comes in 3 times a week. The children are assessed and they are put on an individualised programme. We also have a therapy aide who follows the programme on a daily basis.

Pre-vocational and home skill training ​

Children are taught to make newspaper bags, paper covers, gift envelopes and greeting cards.They are trained in block printing and leaf printing.

They are taught home skills like washing, ironing their own clothes, cutting vegetables, washing vessels and sweeping.

Self Help Training and General Health and Nutrition 

Children and encouraged to develop maximum independence to meet their personal needs through training in activities of daily living such as eating, drinking, dressing, brushing, toileting, and grooming. Special spoons and aids are used for those who need them.

As a part of our services, we take our children for a check-up to Royal Care, where they undergo a thorough screening by a Pediatric Neurologist. At school, we provide them with their prescribed medication and necessary multivitamins. We also give the children milk in the morning, a nutritious midday meal and tea & biscuits in the evening.

Co-curricular activities 

Gross motor activities, art, and craft, dance and music are very much a part of the programme at school.

We take them on a picnic once a year. Popular festivals are celebrated in school and the children enjoy them.
