Udhavi was started in November 1991, to cater to children with special needs in Coonoor and surrounding areas. 

Our objective in setting up the center has been to improve the quality of life of these children and maximize their potential through education and training. 

We provide several services:-

• Early Intervention

• Functional literacy

• Physio-therapy

• Pre-vocational and home skill training

• Self-help skill training

• Co-curricular activities

• General Health and nutrition

All children are assessed by the Special Educator and an individualized programme is planned for each child. The programme is changed as the child achieves his/her goal
